US Ghost Adventures offers entertaining, historic, and authentic ghost tours of the United States' most haunted cities–over 50 cities. We are seeking a skilled Human Resources professional to guide company policy and oversee general HR-related functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft job descriptions for hourly, professional, and technical positions throughout the company and post jobs on relevant recruitment sources such as Indeed
  • Oversee all recruitment functions to include job postings, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and making job offers.
  • Introduce creative ways to attract and hire professional candidates in IT, Marketing, and Operations Management.
  • Guide CEO on policy recommendations and ensure company policies and procedures are aligned with state and federal law.
  • Draft SOP documents and help to onboard new employees to include necessary paperwork.
  • Oversee employee relations initiatives and address employee questions or grievances.
  • Manage unemployment claims.
  • Review benefits and perk packages and ensure eligible employees are enrolled.
  • Develop, manage and maintain employee performance metrics and conduct performance reviews
  • Work with the CEO to take appropriate disciplinary action on employees who violate policy up to include termination. addressing employee grievances
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, and Communication disciplines preferred

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience required
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment for all professional and/or technical exempt-level positions required
  • Experience recruiting skilled marketing professionals and upper-level management candidates is highly preferred
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize work
  • Experience in employee relations and employment law required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous competing priorities
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Indeed for Employers, Google Docs, Excel, and Dropbox preferred
  • Professional and dependable with a positive outlook required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
