General Description:

Maintenance Mechanic- Sparks, NV
We are currently seeking highly motivated, knowledgeable candidates with excellent mechanical, welding fabricating skills.
Successful candidate will be required to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical parts. Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, Plastic Extruders, Material delivery system, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.
Qualified candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and have in depth knowledge and practical application experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance. Must have on the job success in safety, excellent attendance and quality of work expected.
Willingness to pursue ongoing technical training to enhance capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Other Responsibilities:

• Work as a team member within the maintenance department to improve the total reliability of the plant
• Understand maintenance principles and develop self and department work practices to promote a proactive environment
• Understand and utilize drawings, diagrams and equipment manufactures instructions
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motor circuits, single and three phase electrical systems.
• Other similar duties as assigned by manager
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• 6 Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic, mechanical Maintenance and welding.

Position Requirements:

Primary requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Field and 2 years relevant experience.
• The ability to work overtime as needed and on call as needed.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organization and project skills.
• Must work alone and in a team setting.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Must have own tools.
• Must speak/read English.
• Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe fitting, welding.
• Ability to think and act strategically.
• Able to make sound and timely decisions with limited information.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
