Job description

We are currently in search of a Machinist for a full-time permanent position in Marcus Hook, PA. This ideal candidate would have experience working with lathes and milling machines to cut and produce precision parts for machines, instruments and tools. This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of equipment, inclusive of manufacturing equipment, warehouse equipment, shop, and plant equipment. Shift will rotate for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots to diagnose problems; repairs and performs routine pm on equipment
• Assists in maintaining a clean work environment
• Maintains and updates all process documentation
• Supports as necessary with equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansion needs
• Follows all safety policies and procedures strictly
• Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. on equipment
• Performs accurate documentation
• Troubleshoots and repairs various mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems which often involves the isolation of the malfunctioning parts
• Safely operates equipment necessary to perform tasks, adhering to safety standards
• Ensures that equipment is in a safe and working condition and utilizes the Lock-Out Tag-Out program
• Ensures prompt and regular attendance
• Ensures the application of Policies and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of Industrial Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Three to five years operating lathes and milling machines.

Education:

• Trade School/Vocational Tech School certification
• Must be able to weld
