HIREQ is looking for a Insurance Training Manager for our client in Tuscan, AZ. Preferrably a candidate will be highly experienced in auto insurance claims. This newly created role will be responsible for developing Training strategies and tactical plans to support business training needs. As a leader, you’ll train and develop Trainers to facilitate insurance training, as well as be capable of facilitating sessions personally as needed.

Through understanding client needs, developing, and presenting Training solutions, you’ll be part of a fun great team helping our client's rapid growth in the insurance industry. For a well-qualified individual, our client is offering a competitive compensation package with a base salary in the $80,000 - $100,000+ range, plus annual bonus, a full array of standard and extra benefits.

What you will be doing:

  • Facilitate new hire trainings as needed in the Claims space and train others to do so. Ensures assigned trainers are proficient in their job skills by observing and evaluating their training facilitation, providing feedback, and guidance.
  • Remains highly engaged with Operations, Client Services, and other support departments to remain up to date on client specific requirements, priorities, and continuing education needs to support production.
  • Collaborates with the Quality Assurance and Operations teams to gather feedback on training effectiveness and provide quality audits of the claims team/department. May work with the resource management group on hiring forecasts and planning.
  • Develops and executes training strategies that deliver a high-quality training experience, driving Trainee satisfaction and retention from onboarding to the agent life cycle. Partners with Operations to assess performance gaps, ensures training replicates work environment.
  • Functions as the Subject Matter Expert from training for the planning and launch of new insurance programs.
  • Works with Workforce Administration, Operations Management, and Recruiting Team to plan and execute training ramps and meet customer needs. Partner with Operations and Support departments to schedule activities.

Requirements

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an adult education, business-related discipline, or 15+ years of insurance industry experience, or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the position requirements.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Claims Adjuster. Additional experience as a P&C Producer a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience facilitating Insurance industry related classroom training
  • Has held or holds a Claim Adjuster License and preferably has held or holds a P&C Producer License
  • Proficiency in leading and facilitating classroom functions within the insurance industry.
  • Ability to digest information provided and, with support from others, build curriculum from that information
  • Understand the Instructional System Design (ISD) process.
  • Experience leading, managing, and guiding a team of direct reports
  • Managing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, able to work with minimal day to day supervision.
  • Excellent collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus building skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other mainstream business tools. Able to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Able to proactively seek and implement solutions to meet strategic and tactical business initiatives.
  • Be capable and open to Domestic & International Travel
  • Ability to interface and act as a SME with both prospective and existing clients.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
