Via is hiring a Job Coach for our Small Group Employment site located at Cigars International for Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. As a Job Coach you will mentor and guide individuals with disabilities in a production environment to perform specific job functions.

Through paid training, we will prepare you to support individuals with disabilities become more independent. Via is now offering a $2,500 sign on bonus and an increased pay rate of $17-$18/hour determined by education level. Additionally, earn up to $1.75 more per hour by completing all three levels of the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Career Ladder Program.

As a Job Coach you will:

• Complete job analysis as needed to develop and implement effective training plans for supported employees.
• Identify existing natural supports currently at the job site and develop additional supports to assist the individual in maintaining employment.
• Continually assist in identifying and recommending changes in work methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Give frequent and systematic feedback to host employer and supervisor regarding site progress.
• Collaborate with fellow team members.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-year experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community or employment setting is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have strong communication skills.
