The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Hanover-Arundel Mills is looking to hire several candidates to work with children at an afterschool math and reading program. Here at Kumon we strive to help each student achieve his or her highest potential in their academics by promoting good work skills. The new hires will assist the instructor in the grading of worksheets, parent orientation, student observation and instruction. This opportunity is ideal for student teachers and individuals interested in education and working with children.Requirements:
Able to work in the U.S.
Competency in Math and in Reading (Kumon Test will be administered)
Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
Prior teaching experience is a plus (private tutoring, church etc.)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children
Open-minded and willingness to learn
Ability to work part-time afternoon, evening or on Saturdays
Candidate must pass background check.
Working Hours
Tuesday –Friday 3PM-7PM
