The Lab Manager will be responsible for our research and development needs in Westborough, MA. This position will work closely with our entire R&D staff in the coordination of each phase of the product development cycle. This is a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Job Description:

You will work with our pilot operations team and our lab scale development team to coordinate activities. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating efforts a cross three pilot lines and lab scale development work.

Primary duties:

• Coordinate with lab and pilot operations teams to ensure success of development work
• Work with quality, business development and R&D to ensure customer expectations are met
• Organize and document the data in the designated folders.
• Monitor and report facility MAQs
• Use project management tools to maintain and check project status
• Work with leadership to leadership to develop, comprehensive project plans to include scope, requirements, and timelines of specific milestones through life cycle of project
• Follow strictly the enforced EHS regulations followed by the team.

Requirements:

• College degree and at least 5 years experience
• Experience / knowledge in chemical reactions of metal ions in acidic & basic solutions is preferred.
• Experience with project management tools
• Desire to be in the office actively engaged with our teams
• Excellent communication, reporting skills, and collaboration abilities.
• Excellence in MS Office software.
