The right candidate will be reliable, energetic, a positive attitude, and enjoy working with the elderly.
This full time position will perform laundry duties including but not limited to:
- Gathers, sorts, washes, and folds or hands items
- Iron items when necessary
- Sorts laundry by color, fabric and type and prepares for washing
- Recognizes items in need of repair or beyond repair, mends items in need of mending. If unable to repair item, report to supervisor.
- Distributes clean laundry to resident rooms or to general storage areas
