Responsibilities

Full-time Market Access Role, utilizing strong interpersonal and people skills, responsible for resolving contract data problems and verifying correctness with other Business Data Users and System Data Owner(s) for Contract Development and Analytics. Collaborates with Sales/Marketing and Planning leaders to support and implement data management and analytical decisions that are aligned with business needs. As an area lead and an active participant in information workflow processes and data review discussions, the Contract Data Manger will capture, create & update information as part of process workflow and contract business governance. Lead must find quick solutions and have a business mindset based on either education or experience. Both accountable and responsible for accurate and timely creation / modification of contract data, the role will provide special project and program support on-going as Business Contract/Customer Data issues are identified. Authoring documentation of contract data clean-up activities determined by Customer Harmonization and Contract Conversion activities, this role will facilitate governance decisions and communications. Below are examples of expected output and deliverables:

  • Contract Customer Segment (CSEG) changes as it pertains to Class of Trade (COT) and valid identifiers

  • Shared Customer data clean-up and scrubbing defined by harmonization process

  • Establish rules for End-dating/Unlinking/Validating trading partner membership eligibility data for conversion/harmonization activities

  • Analysis of contract data reviews and documentation of process for audit purposes

  • Coordination across special projects where contract data requirements are in scope

  • Lead cultural change for data management and governance by driving enterprise strategies, policies, and standards.

  • Lead development, review, approval, and execution of strategic business decisions pertaining to data management, governance, and compliance with cross functional and cross entity (Pharma) teams.

  • Responsible and accountable for data compliance review, oversight, and execution.

Contract Data Governance:

  • Defines Information Policies, collaborating with cross-functional business data managers

  • Determines contract data asset performance metrics and contract data process KPIs

  • Accountable for creation, modification & validation of business definitions for contract data.

  • Valid values and required identifiers

  • Define retention periods (history requirements, archival retrieval requirements)

  • Criticality (compliance / regulatory / business need)

  • Documentation of and adherence to regulatory / compliance requirements

  • Accountable for overall contract data quality

  • Escalates issues as necessary; creates and submit ticket requests for issue resolution and/or enhancements

  • Enables identification of informational assets required by organization

  • Accountable for the availability of contract data; ensures environment where contract data is maintained is accessible

  • Identifies areas of informational/data redundancy and seeks to eliminate.

  • Facilitates decision making process among Business Data Managers to resolve data definition issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business data managers to define Information Policy

  • Responsible for the timely, accurate creation/capture of contract data

  • Resolution of exceptions generated by automated process; tracking exceptions where needed

  • Enforcing application of consistent contract data definition and governance rules

  • Escalation of exceptions to the business rules to Market Access leadership for resolution

  • Develop and deploy mechanism for capturing and creating information based on business rules

  • Responsible for contract data translation requirements prior to capturing and creating information in repository

Special Project(s):

Inclusive but not limited to: RMUS Integration, iSHIFT, IQVIA MDM Assessment, DASH/ICW Enhancements.

  • Verifying Customer Master file information for every new account or change to existing customers, to eliminate duplicates and inaccuracies.

  • Validation is inclusive but not limited to the use of external data bases.

  • Working with Project Manager on data clean up efforts to ensure “clean” contract/customer master data.

  • Architect of delivering information to business community from specific applications or group of applications within project scope.

  • Validating all contract/customer master data updates and changes reviewed.

  • Responsible for reviewing changes and requests from Project Managerand responding to error reports generated from Program Customer Harmonization team and Project Business team(s)

  • CompleteCSEG changes within a timely fashion.

  • Reviewchanges made to the Contract/Customer Master File through SAPCRM and SAPPR5 for accuracy and respond to appropriate team.

  • Responsible for reviewingand updating shared accounts for Sanofi Pasteur US and Vaxserve in scope of Customer Harmonization and Contract Conversion

  • Responsible for the creation and validation of all new customer requests for Sanofi Pasteur US and Vaxserve accounts generated by the project.

  • Validate and pull-through contract data governance requirements for business operations cross-system integrations

  • Ensure compliance adherence and project documentation for contract data

Skills:

  • High degree of business subject matter expertise, especially from business function perspective

  • Strong initiative to and awareness of data discovery, analysis and research

  • General understanding and awareness of data manager’s role across the organization and business functions

  • Ability to derive and / or facilitate enterprise-level decisions

  • High credibility and influence among peers

  • Possess knowledge of cross-functional information needs and systems supporting those needs

  • Possess knowledge of business processes and functions that captures/creates/update information.

  • Knowledge of how stewarded contract data is consumed by business

  • Knowledge of technologies used in contract data management implementation, knowledge of data analysis and data modeling techniques

  • Understanding of application processes and its implications on supported business processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, analytics, or related field.

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft suite

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

  • Time management and prioritization skills

  • Problem solving abilities as well as monitor outcomes
