Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Work with application modernization and migration teams to design and modernize legacy platforms to Azure cloud native platform

  • Strong demonstrated development experience in Azure PaaS cloud environments, application & data modernization projects

  • Refactor/Rearchitect and implement applications based on modern cloud design patterns and cloud software development that utilizes cloud computing and services in public, private, and hybrid clouds environments

  • Experience dealing with cloud workloads, application, and data architecture, Azure serverless function/application design, micro-services, DevOps

  • Building and configuring delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology

  • Delivering end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring and infrastructure management in a cloud environment

  • Providing knowledge of container management tools (Docker), container orchestration (AKS), infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Ansible, Terraform), and have familiarity with modern build experience tools (Maven) and cloud integration systems (Jenkins)

  • Implementing build, deployment, and monitoring standards for the client

  • Understand static code analysis, unit testing and test-driven development, security testing and automated test frameworks

  • Understand object-oriented programming (emphasis in .NET/Java) and have familiarity with source control systems (emphasis on Git)

  • Leveraging cloud native services to drive innovation and increases speed to market in the software development life cycle

  • Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines to implement and support application and feature releases

  • Assist in system migration to the cloud supporting refactoring legacy system to modernize the application or integration services to leverage cloud native services and solutions

  • Ability to adapt experience into best practices for immediate use



The Team

Our Core Technology Operations (CTO) team offers differentiated operate services for our clients with solutions to help organizations scale and optimize critical business operations, drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future. We are starting a new engagement with a large banking client to scale up the technology engineering team. There is need to provide resources across Data, .NET, and testing. We are looking to grow our team and have several openings. Remote working permitted.

Our operate services within CTO include:

  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products





Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Development Skills: .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, Web API, Entity Framework (EF) Core, Java
  • 5+ years' experience in Azure Services: Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure API Management
  • 5+ years' experience in Azure tools: Containers / AKS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • 5+ years' experience in Database/Data: Azure SQL MI/Databases, SQL server.
  • 3+ years' consulting experience
  • Product Management experience methodologies like Agile or Agile-like environments
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards
  • Knowledge and experience managing Cloud Modernization programs/projects
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Willing and able to work in the Central time zone

Preferred


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in Agile/DevOps: Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Powershell, YAML, SaFe Agile methodology
  • 5+ years' experience in UI Frameworks: Razor, Angular, React
  • 5+ years' experience in two or more Security and Vulnerability Tools: CheckMarx, Blackduck, Sonarcube, Qualys, Twistlock, Qualys WAS
  • 5+ years' experience in Security/Identity: Azure Active Directory/Identity Management, MSAL, OKTA, JWT
  • Service Bus, Azure Storage, KeyVault, Azure Data Migration
  • Modern build experience tools (Maven) and cloud integration systems (Jenkins)
  • Analytics tools: Synapse, Data Factory
  • Knowledge of Specflow, We Services, SOAP, JSON, XML
  • Familiarity with R6 Application Rationalization Methodology
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
