Akasha's Journey is looking for 1 or 2 Licensed Massage Therapists who would like to see clients in our holistic shop. We currently have a dedicated shared private area available for use most weekday and weekend days. We are seeking independent professionals who can see our vision and who will be flexible with us. Right now we are seeking independent contractors who can commit to 1 or 2 days per week. Our schedule is very flexible, and we want to make the hours work for you and for us. We have had a number of our clients looking for massage therapists. We WILL be referring our clients to your practice. Practitioners must be insured & compliant with appropriate regulations where applicable. Currently we have one LMT who works 2 days per month who is out on maternity leave.

There is a massage table in the space currently. Therapists will have use of this table, but must bring their own linens. Scheduling can be done by the therapist or by the shop.

Therapists will coordinate with shop owner as to schedule.

Therapists should be prepared to market themselves through their mailing list and social media. The shop will also cross-post availability.

We are seeking the following practitioners to commit to a schedule: Licensed Massage Therapists (Cranio-Sacral and Lymphatic Drainage Practitioners a bonus)
Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine
Reflexology
Hypnotherapist

We are also seeking other types of holistic healing professionals and readers as well as local professionals who may need a space to teach classes or hold meetings in Eastern Dutchess County to rent part of this space on a per diem basis.

We are happy to discuss per-client compensation as well as space rental.
