Essential Duties:

• Check and complete mice en place stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Familiarity with all major food prep techniques-knife skills are a must!
• Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
• Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
• Open/close the kitchen correctly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations. Maintain the work area throughout the shift
• Can work alongside our Executive and Sous Chef in a collaborative manner
• Assist with all duties as assigned by Chef or Sous Chef
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to communicate in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
• Must be prompt, reliable and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Able to work on his or her feet for eight hours or more per day

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
