Overview:
Provide ongoing maintenance technical support for all machinery and equipment at the facilities and manage maintenance projects through coordination with area supervisors and engineering to meet our maintenance contractual requirements
Major Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead and mentor a team of supervisors and technical craft personnel to inspect, maintain, repair and upgrade equipment, grounds and facilities, per contract requirements
- Coordinate equipment maintenance across three (3) facilities
- Work with Engineering and Operations to create and facilitate repairs, PM's and Pdm's
- Plan, manage and execute all required equipment installation activities. Schedule all repairs and evaluate all repair estimates. Manage repationships with contractors and suppliers
- POC for maintenance audits
- Plan, schedule and execute annual shutdown
- Prepare resular reports on maintenance activities and budget
- Enforce Plance safety standards and ensure all maintenance staff adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Train and mentor supervisors and craft personnel
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma with 5+ years experience in a maintenance management role or similar experience.
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of personnel in the organization
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and desicion making
- Strong knowledge of facilities, machines and equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Experience in a union facility is preferred
