Maintenance Manager
Park & Recreation Department

The City of Perryville is currently accepting applications for Maintenance Manager in the
Park & Recreation Department. Your duties would include overseeing all department staff, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, and painting of the Perry Park Center and the
Perryville Park & Recreation Department.

Starting salary range $47,099 – $55,100 DOQ. The City of Perryville offers a competitive benefits package which includes:

• 100% employer paid health and life insurance for the employee
• LAGERS retirement program at the L6 - 2% benefit bracket (non-contributory)
• PTO accrual immediately upon employment. Accrual amounts per pay cycle are based upon length of service. Max accrual is 400 hours.

While this is primarily a day shift position, applicants must have the flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts, as needed. Required qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Minimum of three-years of prior maintenance supervision
• Valid Missouri Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
• Applicants who do not hold a CDL at the time of hire must be able to obtain as a condition of employment.
• Extensive knowledge in building systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Considerable knowledge in areas related to Park & Recreation functions, pool maintenance, and ball field maintenance (preferred)
