Well established manufacturer in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to learn and grow within the company!Requirements:
- Follow housekeeping schedule.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and operating safety after maintenance operations.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained as per OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) requirements.
- Keep all maintenance equipment and surrounding areas safe and clean.
- Repair equipment, as necessary.
- Assist with boiler maintenance and compliance.
- Assist with setup, preparation, and changeover of equipment per established standards and schedules.
- Meet daily 5S and safety requirements.
- Assist with implementing Lean manufacturing practices.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Trade school certification/apprenticeship/license in manufacturing disciplines.
- 2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience.
- 2+ years manufacturing equipment mechanics and repair experience.
- 2+ years industrial boiler operation, maintenance and compliance experience.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing/high mix/low volume.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
- Knowledge of rubber industry a plus.
- Computer application skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, DEAR, Zoom, MS Teams
- Knowledge of OSHA and related safety laws and regulations.
