Our Turners Falls location is ready to grow, and our world-class team is looking for a passionate, motivated Maintenance Supervisor like you.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be:

• Available as an emergency contact for assigned plant.
• Must be able to work flexible hours providing for needs before or after normal operating hours.
• Communicate with Production Manager and Facilities Manager on daily basis.
• Assist Production Manager in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies.
• Advise Facilities Manager of work completed regarding unusual technical or personnel issues.
• Conduct performance reviews for assigned personnel.
• Responsible for time and attendance approval for maintenance crew members.
• Prioritize, schedule, assign and coordinate the work of assigned staff within your specific plant.
• Monitor, delegate, and verify completion of work of assigned crew members.
• Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment.
• Maintain records related to work orders and materials (including storeroom inventory).
• Generate Purchase Orders for spare parts and consumables.
• Create, upgrade, manage and perform preventative maintenance tasks and SOP’s.
• Develop and implement procedures and techniques to meet our ever-changing environment.
• Flexible to assist in other buildings or plants when needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Comply with all AIB and BRC standards.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Have good people skills that lend to good leadership and focus. Be responsible for motivation and technical execution of plans and projects.
• Electrical/drive experience preferred

A strong Maintenance Supervisor will possess:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of film, extrusion, and web handling a plus
• Basic knowledge of HVAC components and chilled coolant loops.
• Must be familiar with computer programs, including but not limited to CMMS programs, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities and sound decision making.
• Strong Leadership capabilities with effective team communication.
• Strong work and personal ethics.
• Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside the Maintenance department.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Work to increase skill set of maintenance technicians; i.e troubleshooting, alignment, and machine controls.
