Guardian Glass is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Dewitt, IA!

The ideal candidate will align with our management philosophy while most importantly having a solid foundation of virtues. Being a team player, quick learner, self-motivated, innovative, detail orientated, organized, and having excellent communication skills are required for this role.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for the performance and development of the maintenance team
• Manage maintenance resources, work orders, PMs, and weekly schedules for maintenance technicians
• Using economic thinking to fill necessary resource gaps, control overtime spend, reduce/eliminate failure reoccurrence, and identify critical parts and equipment
• Motivate and develop a team of hourly employees to continuously improve performance of the individual employees and overall business

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Mechanical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading improvement efforts in predictive and preventative maintenance
• Experience leading root cause failure analysis

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in a related field
• Maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
