Professional Property Management (PPM), Inc., a corporation owning and managing apartment complexes in multiple locations in the Greater Des Moines area is looking for Maintenance Technicians at our properties in Urbandale and West Des Moines!

Summary of Position

In the Maintenance Technician role, you will complete corrective and preventive maintenance on occupied and vacant apartments and overall property by performing, in all types of weather, the following skills*:

• appliance repair
• electrical work
• carpentry
• plumbing
• drywall installation and repair
• boiler installation and repair
• concrete work
• minor roof repair
• snow removal
• other duties and/or special projects as assigned

The qualified applicant will need to able to, with or without accommodation*:

• climb stairs
• lift 50lbs

Hours of work will be 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience in multi-family housing and/or hotel maintenance desired, but willing to train the right person
• 18 years of age
• Valid Iowa driver’s license at time of hire and a clean driving record
• Must have a fully insured vehicle
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
