Job description

Actively searching to fill full-time Maintenance Technician positions for single family residential homes in the Pass Christian, Mississippi area. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall quality of residential work orders that require the skill and working knowledge to act with an uncompromised professional and ethical capacity. Must have the ability to organize, perform and complete all levels of residential, property maintenance which requires a high level of time management skills to prioritize the work day.

Responsibilities, Requirements & Skills:

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, social security card and legally able to work in the United States.
• Basic handyman style manual and power tools.
• On-call rotation for after hours maintenance emergency work orders.
• Coordinate with operational staff, property managers, leasing agents and tenants to complete all work orders and have them properly recorded in the allotted time frame.
• Working knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, flooring and roofing repair.
• Inventory control of property maintenance supplies, tools and bench stock.
• Implement and follow through with a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensuring that building storage areas and crawl spaces remain locked and secured when not in use.
• Inspecting and keeping the grounds free from debris and deficiencies.
• Working with property staff to uphold the value of curb appeal and overall property safety inspections.
• Able to pass a Maintenance Technician Basic Skills Assessment Test on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
