What Will You Be Doing?
The Manager will coordinate with the Human Resources Cadet Recruiting team to align Flight Operations resources to support pilot cadet recruiting efforts. The Manager will ensure that pilot cadets are effectively mentored throughout their cadet program and upon initial hire, while coordinating with partner airlines and flight schools. This position will coordinate and conditionally supervise any pilots used to support our recruiting efforts. This position reports directly to the VP of Flight Operations.
Essential Functions
- Utilize and help to administer the systems used to monitor cadets as they flow through the various programs
- Assist in coordinating support and mentoring of cadets as they progress through the cadet program
- Work with the Chief Pilot’s Office to identify, train and schedule mentors for cadets as needed.
- Act in a conditional supervisory capacity for pilots assigned to cadet or recruitment duties.
- Design and implement dashboards to ensure information is up to date and relevant for Frontier leaders.
- Coordinate with Crew Planning/manpower planning to ensure Frontier cadet programs are producing accurate pilot staffing numbers (pilots) as required by the manpower plan. Work with the HR Flight Operations Recruiting team to adjust recruiting strategies as needed.
- Create and process improve the collection and retention of data for cadets as they move forward in their training and experience building
- Establish relationships with flight school partners and airlines to ensure sufficient capacity to experience build our cadets.
- Coordinate closely with the Chief Pilot’s Office to ensure sharing of information and timely progress reports on all cadets.
- Design and implement recordkeeping, cost controls and approvals for use of line pilots in recruiting and mentoring efforts

Qualifications
- Strong communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company, with others in the organization, and with key external business partners.
- Strong leadership and management experience, with a servant leader mentality
- Basic understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations and standard airline training practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with demonstrated effectiveness in the design and analytical use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Proven ability to quickly understand complex systems, analyses, and processes, and manage projects.
- Advanced critical thinking skills.
- Ability to facilitate a cooperative relationship both within the division, with other divisions of the company, and with flight schools and partner airlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.
- Pilot training experience, preferred
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel extensively

- Possess excellent communication skills to include ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner with all company personnel as well as outside agency representatives.

Work Environment
Monday through Friday with some weekends
On-call from time to time
Extensive travel to partner airlines and flight schools, moderating as staff is hired.

Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.

General Direction: The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
