• Leads and manages the Software Engineering teams to ensure team's job performance, quality of works, productivity as well as alignment with Aspen's mission, vision, and values.
• Directs and manages Aspen's application and product development including architecture, design, maintenance, and full development life cycle, as well customer onboarding implementation.
• Align with business strategy, goals, functionality & timeline requirements, scalability, availability, and operational agility.
• Create, enhance, and optimize system architecture, application design and administration/configuration capability to improve the implementation processes (options, capacity, speed).
• Manages Aspen's technical implementation of customer startups and change requests. Works closely and coordinates with Aspen's Project Management team and Cloud Engineering team in setup, configuration and customization per customer and internal operational requirements.
• Serves as software engineering point of contact for Information Security controls and implementation for HiTrust requirements and customers' infosec requirements, in collaboration with IST, system administration and DevOps teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

• General management and technology leadership. Proven managerial experience, with HR responsibilities, in leading software engineering teams (4+ years)
• Prior hands-on experience in software engineering, application, or system development.
• High proficiency with C#.NET, and various programming languages like Angular/RxJS
• High proficiency writing complex SQL queries
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and remote teams
• Proven experience in managing complex full life cycle software and product development projects in a cloud (AWS) native environment, including multiple of the following:
• Experience with containerized microservices and event-driven architecture
• Web application, Mobile application, API web services
• Enterprise data platform, integration and processing/reporting engine
• Relational database (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Healthcare application and data environment and HIPAA/PHI requirements
• Atlassian collaboration & project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Team)
• Experience working with remote engineering teams as well as other teams
• Excellent verbal, written communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• A mission-driven individual with a belief in and commitment to the success of the team and the company.
• Experience in healthcare technology products and services is a plus
