Marine Outfitting Engineer
Job description
Mystic Powerboats is currently seeking an Outfitting Engineer to join our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Design outfitting hardware for new and old vessels using Solidworks and AutoCad
Create 2D schematics for owner’s manual and vendor use
Develop interior and exterior outfitting plan for new models to meet NMMA/ABYC/UCCG regulations and customer expectations
Provide direction to Lamination CAD technician to ensure all reinforcements and inserts are accurately located in fiberglass and cut properly using a CNC machine
Evaluate, test, and develop working mockups of hardware or fabricated components to validate operation, installment, and quality
Build/create a Bill of Material for all components being implemented in new vessels
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
