The Marketing Specialist- Events, will be responsible for organizing, managing, and executing a percentage of the organization’s events, including trade events, conferences, major internal meetings, customer events and seminars, as well as virtual and webinars.

Description:
The Marketing Specialist- Events, will be responsible for organizing, managing, and executing a percentage of the organization’s events, including trade events, conferences, major internal meetings, customer events and seminars, as well as virtual and webinars.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison with various global and local stake holders within the company as well as external customers to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as a brand champion in the organization and ensure that use of the brand is compliant.
- Conducti pre and post–event evaluations and report on outcomes
- Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders.
- Work with third party Vendors to satisfy event needs
- Manage entire planning process including but not limited to:
- Stakeholder meetings – product marketing and campaign managers
- Project planning
- Goal setting
- Budget management
- On-site event management
- Lead uploading
- Follow-up plans – working with Campaign Managers
- Event reporting
- Progress toward goal
- Events debrief and summaries
- Basic evaluation on event in Stop Start Repeat format.
- Ability to Travel up to 25%, mostly domestic with possible occasional international travel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of event management experience
- 3+ years in a business-to-business marketing role
- Experience producing large event booths with heavy equipment preferred.
- Experience with digital marketing techniques (keyword advertising, CRM, marketing automation, e-mail marketing, webinars, etc.)
- Demonstrated project management responsibilities
- Ability to organize, influence and negotiate both within and outside of the organization
- Strong peer leadership and influence skills with a proven ability to drive results through others in a non-reporting relationship
