At United Salad Co., our Mechanic Assistants work alongside experienced technicians to help diagnose and repair trailers. You’ll help by gathering tools and equipment needed for repairs and assist with a variety of tasks, such as changing oils, replacing filters, rotating tires, and inspecting brake systems. As you gain experience and skills, you may have the opportunity to take on more specialized tasks such as engine repair or transmission work. Your team will support you every step of the way to help you grow in your role and advance your career.

Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have one year of truck and/or trailer repair experience
- Must have one year of vehicle repair or maintenance experience for gas, diesel, or semi-trailers (Highschool or College courses also qualify)
- Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 75 lbs.), push, climb, and lie on back in a horizontal position for prolonged periods of time
*Contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle records check, and the ability to pass a drug screen, including THC*
