The Role:
We’re looking for a media planning coordinator to join our business to assist the advertising operations team with some rapid growth clients. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of digital video advertising formats and strategies. The right candidate will be capable of and interested in learning about paid media in the children’s entertainment space at a brisk pace. They will be detail oriented, passionate about media and have an enthusiastic attitude towards storytelling with data.
You will be working with some of the biggest brands in Kids and Family entertainment, helping to support the media operations team and commercial team in selling digital advertising to major brands. You will be based in our Los Angeles office, working closely with the media planning manager and directly corresponding with members of the advertising operations team based in London.
This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the media planning manager to develop strategies, plans, executions, and reporting on behalf of Moonbug’s partner clients.
- In coordination with the ad operations and commercial sales team, create pre-sales media strategy and any media-specific documents such as RFPs.
- Assist with the creation of educational materials to inform clients and wider teams with updates and offers within the paid media team.
- Verify YouTube network inventory availability throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with media planning manager/ad operations team to satisfy campaign launch needs including asset collection, ad ops requirements, and YouTube creator video and social requests.
- Assist with campaign pacing to ensure full campaign delivery.
- Analyze and deliver campaign reports summarizing performance on a weekly, monthly, and campaign-timeline level.
- Create and format visually appealing decks to relay campaign learnings and performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities within your account set to provide suggestions that will increase customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Pull data from research tools, dashboards and data files to gather insights about media campaign performance.
- Analyze and draw insights from campaigns, creatives, and the targeted marketplace through brand surveys and research.
Requirements
- An effective time manager, comfortable working with multiple timelines and deliverables.
- Results and solutions-oriented; consistently motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical, proactive and curious to find patterns/trends within the online advertising landscape.
- Comfortable working within large sets of data and numbers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, open and honest communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams positively.
- Self-starter, able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant online advertising industry experience, from either an internship or job experience, is required.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Facebook Business Manager, YouTube CMS / Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Data Studio.
- Experience with kids and families digital marketing is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of YouTube video advertising.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Pay range: $22-24/hr
