POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible to perform all functions of the Workflow Coordinator and report variation to the Production Supervisor overseeing the Scranton Products Department. Also validates that the manufacturing processes are running efficiently, safely and that the product is free of any defects.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Reports Status of SOW adherence to Supervisor as part of hourly process checks.

• Assist the Production Supervisor to ensure all tasks necessary for the department are completed based on production schedules.

• Inspect products for quality purposes to ensure the department is meeting customer needs.

• Reports to Supervisor process variation – hour to hour process targets verses goals.

• Validates order completion – Packout data verses JDE system data, corrects as required.

• Practices strong engagement with team members including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts,

sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve process problems and showing respect.

• Ensure that machines are provided with adequate material in order to complete jobs correctly and efficiently.

• Maintains and reports Work in Process to Supervisor and Plant Manager.

• Responsible for completing pre and post shift inspections including reporting non-conformance to Supervisor.

• Maintain proper count of production and complete appropriate paperwork related to the department.

• Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to the Production Supervisor as needed.

• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness of work areas.

• Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

• Understand and follow all company policies, practices and procedures.

• Assist other workers as needed.

• Completes assigned 6S Audits.

• Performs other assignments as directed by Supervisor or Management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 3 plus years of experience

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Other Requirements: Experience with Scranton Products Workflow and Manufacturing Process.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must wear safety glasses and ear protection at all times on the manufacturing floor. Typical mfg environment with machine noise, regular housekeeping required.
