Amplity Our clients National Program Director
The National Program Director (NPD) is responsible for performance standards of Amplity employees ensuring all program goals, metrics and financial measurements are achieved/overachieved. The NPD will use data and evidence to make calculated business decisions. The NPD manages various aspects of employee’s employment experiences including hiring, performance management, administrative, expense management, employee related areas The National Program Director works closely with the client sales management and leadership to support all client program goals, removing barriers for successful achievement of desired results. The NPD is responsible for driving strategic improvements based on data and team performance. The NPD builds relationships and partnerships internally and externally to successfully drive alignment and engagement. The NPD effectively coaches and directs managers to drive results through their teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client and corporate goals
- Engage team in an effective manner ensuring sales goals met with a high focus on patients and compliance
- Ensure target sales goals are met and exceeded
- Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and a strong sense of shared goals among team members
- Effectively plan and facilitate required meetings
- Evaluate employee territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and output, while ensuring compliance with policies and processes and addressing issues through corrective action process as they arise
- Interview and hire employees in an EEO compliant manner
- Monitor employee compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain required technical and product expertise including competitive knowledge
- Ensure all employees fully comply with all laws, regulations, and code of conduct
- Lead team to successfully meet and exceed all client and team objectives
- Oversee teams call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose ensuring all performance metrics and sales goals achieved
- Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity Solutions Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations, and terms and conditions prescribe in the Sample Administration Agreements and PDMA Guidelines
- Following compliance guidelines, drive the sales performance nationally to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded
- Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve program objectives
- Sets clear goals and commitments and holds teams accountable to deliver
- Establishes SMART goals and holds team accountable to deliver high performance
- Leads with an appropriate sense of urgency to meet critical milestones
- Creates a high performing culture that drives ownership and engagement
- Builds effective and diverse teams
- Proactively engages with internal and external stakeholders to share progress and collaborates on next actions
- Drives strategic improvements based on data and team performance
- Always working in accordance with the companies compliance policies and procedures needed
- Maintain current understanding of the national markets, practice structures evolving customers and key influencers per region
- Provide input into resource allocation and decisions nationally
- Work with our client and key stakeholders to develop business plans that ensures achievement of all business objectives
- Capitalize on business opportunities through effective implementation of teams strategic plan
- Effectively inform and build a business plan based upon depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products
- Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines
- Uncover performance issues and identify new opportunities
- Other responsibilities and duties as needed
Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required
- A minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience required, 10+ years or more years preferred
- A minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical sales leadership experience required with a regional or national level 8+ years or more preferred
- Prior experience with training, and or corporate rotations a plus
- Second line leadership advantageous
- Primary care experience nice to have
- A history of attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining a diverse team of sales achievers
- Launch experience a plus
- Experience working with CSOs advantageous
- Understand the importance of EEO compliance
- Ability to lead a team that is agile and adaptable in a virtual environment
- Financial literacy and budget management experience
- Track record of translating business strategy into performance results
- Has worked in complex/multidimensional environments
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives
- Willingness to travel as needed nationally on a weekly basis required
- Located by a major national airport Eastern or Central time zones preferred
- Ability to create and develop business plans and reviews
- Must have a strong sense of self-motivation, initiative
- Strong meeting platform experience-Zoom, TEAMS, etc
- Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Office etc required
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
- Proof of Covid vaccine required at the time of hire
- Successfully complete all required client training required
