POSITION SUMMARY:

Potential Candidates should have the ability to sufficiently manage and treat patients in an outpatient setting and facility.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administrative work such as charting in the EMR system, reviewing labs, prescription refills and vein procedures in the OBL.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Communication Skills: To communicate with your patients and colleagues, you will have excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills. You must be able to understand what your patients are telling you, clearly communicate instructions, and build and maintain a trusting relationship.
- Problem Solving: Based on clinical interviews, physical examinations, and lab test results, you must be able to identify diseases and other health conditions. After making diagnoses, you need to produce treatment plans.
- Critical Thinking: When developing a treatment plan, you must be able to evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify and implement the one that will have the best potential outcome.
- Compassion: You must be able to sympathize with sick, and also worried, patients and their families.
- Leadership Skills: You may come to manage other members of the VASC team such as RNs and LPNs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- License to practice as a registered nurse (State of CA-issued)
- Bachelor’s degree, or Associate degree
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
- Certified with Vascular specialty, a super plus
- Other certified specialties advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and health assessment, a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical and psychosocial history
- Record symptoms
- Physically examine patients
- Make diagnoses
- Develop a treatment plan that may include medication and other therapies
- Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses
- Order and interpret laboratory test results
- Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments
WORKING CONDITIONS
Exposure to high pressure situations due to multiple situations, calls/situations. Maintains composure in high pressure circumstances and scenarios. Travel required in the Inland Empire in Southern California region.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Moderate physical effort – lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lifts supplies/equipment. Manual dexterity and mobility. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard. Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching. Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to calm patients and family members when problem solving issues related to health care. Ability to hear, read and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual capability - Spanish - is ideal.

Pay: $155,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
