CPS-a leader in providing healthcare within the Massachusetts Correctional system is hiring for PRN (16 hours) for a Mid-level Practitioner in Dartmouth, MA. The Bristol County Sheriff's Office has been approved as a Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA), a designation given to sites whose providers provide culturally competent health care services to under served populations. In return, the health care providers are eligible to apply for assistance with the repayment (up to $40,000) of outstanding school loans with a two year service commitment. Following the two year commitment, the provider can apply for additional repayment awards. Correctional Medicine provides the opportunity to practice in internal and emergency medicine, detoxification, obstetrics and more. Providers are members of a supportive multi-disciplinary team providing full-scale healthcare to the inmate population. We offer very competitive pay, excellent benefits and flexible work schedules.
