The RN - Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice, coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. RN Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• This RN position is a staff position that has direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for licensed nurses and nursing assistants.

• Administer nursing care or delegate as a RN Charge Nurse those functions or procedures that by law require the expertise of an RN.

• Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy, as needed

• Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders

• Follows established procedure for charting and reporting all reports of incident/accidents (patients & employees)

• Identifies and reports changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family

• Perform related responsibilities as designated by the Director of Nursing Services

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California
• Current in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families

• 8 hour shift: PM, NOC
