Summary / Objective

Responsible for the daily operational assistance to the NFL Films Senior Leadership team as well as ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion programs and initiatives are prioritized and executed. Position includes working closely with the Sr. Leadership team to coordinate and execute cross-organizational efforts including status tracking, scheduling, organizing and disseminating information to ensure all departments are running smoothly and we are vigilant and effective in our DEI efforts. In addition to Films executive staff, position will interface with external vendors and League executives, employees and ERGs

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-departmental operational trackers and status reports for Sr. Leadership team
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings for Sr. Leadership team
  • Coordinate deal workflow from ideation through execution, distribution, and filing (internally and externally)
  • Maintain ongoing communication with business partners to ensure we are keeping relationships strong and active. Responsible for maintaining Client and Vendor business relationship lists
  • Create and disseminate NFL Films communication newsletter for pertinent information to be relayed to employees on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Assist Sr. Leadership team with PowerPoint Presentations and other materials needed for meetings
  • Coordinate and track Films strategic planning progress on goals throughout the year
  • Ensure DEI topics and reporting are a standard part of Sr. leadership agendas
  • Support the DEI team to ensure the best practices are applied across the Films organization
  • Assist with the planning and execution of DEI programs, including workshops, trainings, meetings, and external speakers
  • Support Employee Resource Groups to meet their objectives
  • Maintain and report on various tracking documents for internal and external DEI initiatives, including bridging the gap of all the ERGs across NFL Films
  • Conduct research on DEI topics as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Communications or Sports Management preferred
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Experience working with high level executives, professional athletes and celebrities
  • Need to be proactive and forward thinking, anticipating the needs of the department.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in appropriate and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills required include Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Suite including TEAMS, Google Docs, Internet research ability, and be well versed with social media.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and able to prioritize workload based on those deadlines.
  • Must be able to work well independently as much as part of a team.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
  • FLSA exempt.
