Outreach Manager
Job description
The Telehealth Community Outreach Manager will:
-
Develop and coordinate innovative telehealth outreach activities for the library and partners to external communities. -
Establish and cultivate partnerships with area cultural, recreational, educational, service and civic organizations to connect them to telehealth resources opportunities at Pratt.

Facilitate the extension of telehealth and library resources, including the skills and expertise of staff, throughout the city, with a priority of reaching communities and populations experiencing barriers to technology and connectivity.

Travel to Pratt and Health Department locations to support telehealth outreach and community engagement events and opportunities.

Communicate effectively on project goals and requirements with all internal and external project participants.

Assist with the development and implementation of educational sessions and programs.

Attend community events, meetings, etc. to promote telehealth services.

Maintain updates on telehealth with colleagues in IT, Marketing, etc.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Three years of in-person customer service experience or a combination of other appropriate experience and knowledge.

Minimum two years of leadership experience.

Experience providing excellent customer service to a broad range of customers in an urban environment.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
-
Strong communication skills - oral, written, and interpersonal.

Flexible, energetic, and collaborative nature.

Thorough knowledge and skills with operating contemporary computer equipment, hardware, and software, including working in an online and cloud environment. Ability and willingness to learn about and use new and specialized technology and software.

Ability to assess, organize, and resolve training needs.

Ability to explain complex technical procedures to staff and public with patience, thoroughness, and support.

Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.

Ability to organize, manage and motivate others.

Experience with public speaking.
