LA Cha Cha Cha in Downtown Arts District is looking for experienced Bartenders to join our team!

*SUNDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Optimally tailor each guest’s bar experience
• Ensure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction
• Maintain the cleanliness of bar tools and bar areas
• Communicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary
• Support team with beverage service to all dining areas
• Assist with bar prep including juicing and cutting fruit, preparing syrups, building garnishes and batches, etc.
• Receiving and working with ingredients for the preparation of bar menu items
• Complete all necessary opening and closing side-work according to standards and specifications set by the team in a timely and professional manner
• Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages
• Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items
• Cleaning, polishing and maintaining stock of bar glassware and service-ware
• Able to create relevant and creative beverages based on requirements of guests or managers
• Work cleanly and maintain organization during service
• Communicate efficiently and respectfully
• Effectively communicating service irregularities to all
• Full knowledge of bar food and beverage menus, and able to guide guests to best order
• Constantly pushing to creatively interpret positive guest relations and industry standards
• Adhere to Covid-19 related health and safety standards

Skills & Requirements

• Willing to train the right person but 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of Toast POS a plus
• Exceptional communication, service and floor skills
• Ability to work in an organized and meticulous manner with strong attention to small details
• Ability to adapt to changing systems inherent to a new restaurant
• Solution-focused, receptive to constructive criticism and general performance feedback
• Strong interest in food & wine, & the business of hospitality highly preferred

Must Provide

• Food Handler certificate
• RBS/ABC certificate

Physical Demands

• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
