- High school graduate or equivalent required. Able to utilize a PC with typing proficiency of 50 WPM. Previous knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures. Must be able to maintain positive public relations image in all medical staff and interdepartmental communications. Must relate to physicians, coworkers and patients in a courteous, helpful and respectful manner. Is expected to participate in a team effort to accomplish department goals, must be willing to rearrange schedules according to department needs. Must be able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
