Pawesome Palace is a small business located in the Arundel Mills/Anne Arundel County Hanover, Md area. The salon is in high demand as there are more pets than groomers & our clientele is very large & continuously growing. We are looking to hire 2 experienced, pet loving, hard-working, & reliable individuals who are serious to take on grooms & create art in a relaxed environment. Pawesome Palace offers commission-based pay, 100% of your tips & flexible schedules. This job is suitable for someone who doesn't want to work in an overwhelming environment, who loves to put out good grooms in their own way, & who has passion in what they do & wants to make it more than just a job but a career.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience required
• Own grooming tools (such as brushes, combs, shears, clippers, blades, etc.)
• Cat grooming is not required, but is a plus
• Reliable transportation & on time for appointments
• Photo/Personal References, Social media pictures are a plus
• Breed cuts (not required but a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Bathe & groom pets big & small
• Blow drying any pet allowed to be blow dried
• Brush/comb or detangle any hair able to be dematted
• Nail trims, teeth brushing, anal glands, ear cleaning, paw trims, body clips, fur coloring (can be taught)
• Applying bows & bandanas after each bath or groom
• Maintain a clean grooming salon & work environment
• Answer phone/set appointments
• Take payments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
