Position Summary
This position requires an active Physician Assistant license with PA credentials. Under the general and direct supervision of the Medical Director, Corporate Physicians, and Office Manager provides clinical support for Company in a private outpatient primary care facility (urgent care and family practice). Perform other diverse duties as requested or required within scope of licensure.

Primary Duties:
Direct and indirect medical care services and treatments that ensure the safety, comfort, and protection of patients. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patients condition. May discuss case with other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. May prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. May refer patients for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. Maintains appropriate documentation in patient records and signs all patient documents in a timely manner(4 weeks) to ensure continuity of care. Follow quality control guidelines in accordance with company policy. Observes and practices standard precautions.
Licensing: Responsible for maintaining current board certification and state license of PA. Provide copies of updated licensing to the office manager or human resources. Maintain continuing education as directed to maintain Board Certification.
Procedures: Practice only within the guidelines as permitted by license and state regulations. Assist physicians and other staff with all procedures as needed. Follow appropriate protocol to ensure the patients health and safety.
Phones: Utilize phone system properly, answer phones in a courteous manner, quickly identify callers needs, route calls appropriately, create complete flag and phone notes and route appropriately. Reply to all phone notes and flags in a timely manner (48 hours). Respond to all patient questions and requests within protocol in a timely (48 hours) and professional manner.
Communication: Communicate with all staff, patients, and other healthcare providers using phones, CPS flags and phone notes, secure messaging, and Company email; utilizing each method when appropriate. Follow up and seek resolution to complaints per policy and reports them to the office manager. Report all incidents as per policy.

Job Standards
Education: Undergraduate degree with completion of an accredited Physician Assistant is required. Current State License and Board Certification is required. BLS or AED certifications are required
Experience: Prior experience as Physician Assistant is requested but not required. Pay Rate is based upon experience level.

Must be able to work some Saturday, Sundays, and work at the satellite clinics in Crossville,TN.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $94,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
