TITLE: Principal Engineer II
LOCATION: Englewood, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical leadership and integration support for architecture design, configuration, and deployment of Charter Commercial Voice Architectures. Provide escalated postimplementation support for Charter's Commercial Voice Network Solutions. Build in-depth voice engineering architectures using voice-over-IP (VoIP) and related telecommunication platforms, including identifying voice network requirements and defining implementation procedures. Support multiple internal and external projects for IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) and VoIP networks Perform technical analysis of proposed solutions. Lead multi-discipline teams within specific projects. Define and integrate changes to IMS and underlying layer 1, 2, and 3 platforms needed to support scalability and new functionality. Collaborate with Solutions, Validation, Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, and Product teams. Integrate solutions meeting business, architectural, and operational requirements. Write and execute detailed test plans and document test results to establish the integrity, viability, functionality and capacity of Voice architectures. Provide documentation of Voice architectures including Engineering Design Documents (EDD), Method of Procedure (MOP), and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Provide technical support and guidance to Charter Product, Engineering, Integration and Operations teams. Assist project plan development. Support and drive changes to Charter’s voice platform. Performing analysis and troubleshooting of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). Performing networking with Cisco Routers/Switches, HP Routers, or Juniper Firewalls. Support computer servers and operating systems including Cisco UCS, Dell Blade System, HP, Linux, CentOS, or VMware. Prepare technical documentation including Method of Procedure (MOP) and training materials.
EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. 3 years of experience: performing analysis and troubleshooting of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS); networking experience with at least one of the following: Cisco Routers/Switches, HP Routers, or Juniper Firewalls; and supporting at least one of the following computer servers and operating systems: Cisco UCS, Dell Blade System, HP, Linux, CentOS, or VMware. 2 years of experience preparing technical documentation including Method of Procedure (MOP) and training materials. Remote work permitted up to 2 days per week

The pay for this position has a salary range of $124,000.00 to $220,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
