System One is partnering with a local company in search of a Procurement Expeditor in the Tulsa, OK area. The Procurement Expeditor position will be a 5-month contract opportunity. Experience with SAP as well as materials and equipment procurement is preferred. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Pull SAP variant to review open orders which are unacknowledged or late Acknowledge supplier delivery dates and pricing via both direct email and / or calling suppliers Update SAP with delivery and pricing information Support long-lead expediting effort including contacting suppliers and updating expediting list with current delivery dates Communicate with our internal customers on related purchase orders as required to inform of delivery status and changes Update internal customers at scheduled meetings on P.O. status Communicate with suppliers on related purchase orders Qualifications: SAP experience preferred Experience with equipment and materials procurement, as well as logistics
