LDR Site Services has grown from a small startup to a national player in the waste management and portable sanitation industry. Our mission is to quickly, cost-efficiently and reliably handle customers' rental needs so they can focus on other critical parts of their projects.

LDR Site Services is looking for an entry-level Procurement Representative to help source customer orders, develop project quotes, manage the bidding and procurement process, and develop their skills to become subject matter experts.

The Role

• Develop long-term mutually beneficial business relationships with vendors.
• Fulfill customer requests by matching orders with vendor availability and price.
• Work seamlessly with customer representatives, sales reps, and account managers to successfully complete customer orders and grow LDR's business.
• Prioritize and manage all orders from request to delivery
• Ensure regular communication with all stakeholders

Primary Responsibilities

• Solicit vendor quotes, manage vendor bids, and execute vendor contracts.
• Demonstrate expertise with contract language and commercial terms and conditions.
• Ensure all orders are executed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Negotiate contract conditions with vendors.
• Assist with vendor on-boarding and off-boarding.
• Manage both day-to-day transactions and long-term vendor relations.
• Complete complex large dollar value contracts.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least one year of work experience in a related field, preferably in logistics or construction management
• Waste industry knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage projects with a sense of urgency
• Strong data-analysis skills
• Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Adhere to Company attendance and punctuality policy
• Self-motivated, energetic, detail oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work with Salesforce CRM system
