As a Controls Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing select products and developing positioning that differentiates our products in the market. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating the value proposition to the sales team, distribution partners & Carrier Controls Expert contractors. You will develop the sales collateral to support the selling process of our products and provide VOC to the Product Management team. You will plan the launch and release of new products, manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan and conceive and develop innovative market facing programs and documentation that our Sales Channel will utilize to drive market demand. You will demonstrate excellent presentation skills as well as a thorough technical understanding of building automation systems and controls contracting. You should have work history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving aptitude. Extraordinary leadership capabilities, a high degree of personal integrity, interpersonal skills and abilities are ideal.
Responsibilities:

Identify and promote standard methodologies across the region
-
Manage pre-sale software/tools
-
Manage select products in the Carrier Controls portfolio
-
Work across internal teams to support training, sales & technical requirements
-
Provide counsel to Distribution and Controls Expert Contractors in support of products & tools
-
Provide/participate in sales and product training to sales offices
-
Provide account pre-sale account support
-
Provide counsel to resellers (specification interpretation, business/sales strategy, etc.)
-
Travel as required within the region (10% – 25%)

Participate in in-house factory initiatives as needed (i.e. ACE Pilot, CRM tool, etc.)
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in the Building Management Systems Market
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Experience with Carrier’s i-Vu Open and/or CCN systems
-
Experience estimating and designing controls systems
-
Flexibility with regard to job duties (those listed and others as assigned by supervisor)

Ability to handle several tasks at a time and deliver consistently

Dedicated problem solver

Excellent analytical, and computer technical skills

Ability to develop constructive and collaborative working relationships across functional teams

Up-to-date on new technologies and ability to apply new knowledge and techniques to the job

Capable of working independently and comfortable making decisions

Use and familiarity with the following software packages: MS Office – Outlook (power user), Excel (power user), PowerPoint (power user), Word, Visio, and Salesforce.com

Camtasia or other video recording/editing software is a plus

Pay Range:
$105,750 - $148,250 Annually
