Davidson is seeking a Product Owner in Huntsville, AL.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our innovative Agile project team that is building and integrating new tools in a broader wargaming effort. These tools combine complex AI/ML algorithms with modeling and simulation to provide new capabilities to wargaming products.

Responsibilities:

· Act as the primary point of contact for the product backlog and work closely with the development team and customer Product Owners to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and features.

· Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, business goals, and user feedback.

· Collaborate with a cross-functional team (SW developers, M&S Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, DevSecOps Engineers) to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product requirements.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, NG product owners, and development team members.

· Prioritizes key areas of work during a program increment, ensures that the software development team understands the intent and requirements of feature and user story definitions and that the team is aligned on all acceptance criteria

Requirements:

· Five (5) years experience in a technical field including three (3) years of experience working on Agile teams.

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar degree is required.

· An additional four (4) years of additional technical or industry experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

· Ability to understand and speak to highly technical subjects.

· Ability to obtain and maintain a TS level DoD Security Clearance

Desired Competencies/Experience/Certifications:

· Proficiency in Agile, C/C++, C#, and general software best practices

· Experience leading Agile teams

· Experience with AI/ML and optimization techniques -or- modeling and simulation

· Experience with GitLab or Azure DevOps

· Familiarity with a structured process-driven software development environment including peer reviews of all work products, using a revision control system, defect tracking, and build release practices required

· Experience with Git for source control.

· Experience with applied automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing.

· Experience with test framework/application and system verification

· PMI-ACP certification preferred

· Active DoD Security Clearance at the SAP/SCI level or above

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
