A&E is responsible for the development of scope, design and construction documents for capital improvement projects at existing schools, and for feasibility studies, programming, design and construction documents for new school buildings, additions and lease conversions. A&E also provides ongoing professional services for construction administration during the projects' construction phase.

The Program Manager manages consultants in the design and/or construction/renovation of new or existing schools. Manages multiple projects of varying complexity.

Responsibilities include:
- Guide interdisciplinary consultant teams assigned to projects. Coordinate architectural and engineering design activities in scope, design, and construction.
- Lead or participate in meetings with various SCA departments & outside consultants.
- Recommend approval of consultant expenditures, and responsible for negotiating consultant fees
- Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, codes and standards, and tracking and ensuring approval from all regulatory agencies.
- Participate in day-to-day operations to address and resolve specific managerial, administrative and operational details.
- Review and assess documents for quality, constructability, value engineering, commissioning, phasing and other design related criteria.
- Participates in the development of the technical resources.
- Assist Management with managing staff, special projects and/or initiatives
- Perform related duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate
- Eight (8) years of full-time work experience participating in the negotiation, mediation, assessment and/or evaluation of costs associated with design projects' components; four years must be in an administrative or supervisory capacity; or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.

Work Experience
Eight years of full-time work experience participating in the negotiation, mediation, assessment and/or evaluation of costs associated with construction projects' components; four years must be in an administrative or supervisory capacity; or a safisfactory combination of education and experience. Specialty technical skills aplicable to the areas to be assessed or evaluated.
