DOMA is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a complex digitization program providing services throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. This role will be responsible for managing overall project execution and delivery activities, including maintaining project plans, and ensuring the required outcomes with respect to schedules, milestones, and deliverables are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Formulates and enforces work standards, subcontractor management and performance, and customer satisfaction and alignment with the objectives of a project.
- Determines the appropriate documentation (project plan, communication plan, schedules/timelines, status reports, quality plan, closure summary, budget, risk plan, etc.) for program as needed.
- Provides successful service delivery across all program areas including monitoring programs to ensure it follows a well-defined and detailed work scope, schedule, and budget; and meets technical and performance requirements.
- Regularly communicates with customer to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
- Integrates various other resources and stakeholders within DOMA to ensure effective customer support.
- Manages resources across program, and maintains/tracks contract deliverables, schedule, and budget.
- Organizes, understands, and maintains up-to-date contract documents.
- Recommends changes to improve processes and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
- Ensures conformity to contractual obligations; establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show project.
- Ensures appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the life of the program.
- Ensures that program adhere to quality control standards such as reporting and issues tracking.
- Provide feedback and encourage learning by team members; create growth opportunities for others, transfer knowledge to others
- Articulate clear performance goals and provide frequent performance measurement feedback; monitor individual and team performance metrics to ensure goal attainment
- Establish priorities, allocate time to maximize benefits, and manage team resources to ensure the highest level of productivity and accuracy
- Pro-actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and act upon findings to initiate improvements,
- Make timely decisions with well-developed judgement, while considering alternatives, risks and other critical decision factors
- Responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the department for team members and customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Project Lead
- PMP certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge with ISO 9001:2015 a plus
