PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION

*MUST LIVE WEST OF THE 405, FARTHEST SOUTH IS MARINA DEL REY, OR CAN LIVE IN THE AGORA HILLS AREA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Manager will be responsible for full cycle ground-up construction, Warranty, Sales, GC and Sub contractor negotiations and option pricing for all homes under your remit. The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Analyze and interpret construction plans to carry out material take-off
• Oversee bidding process, subcontractor selection and project buyout
• Negotiate and co-approve subcontracts
• Create and maintain project schedule
• Communicate daily with Superintendent off-site staff to drive productivity
• Manage RFI's and submittals throughout the construction process
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors
• Meet budget and timeline of each project
• Manage weekly site meetings and produce meeting minutes.
• Interface with end user

IDEAL APPLICANT:

The successful candidate must have a significant track record and project pipeline of Custom home building specifically within the Malibu Ca area, Similarly you must have/possess:

• 5 years minimum experience within residential custom home building arena
• Have carried and lead multiple custom / luxury custom home projects valued at $10M +
• Managed large teams of construction sub-contractors.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture a plus, but not required.
• CAD, and other drafting or rendering software proficiency a plus but not required.
• Significant project management experience within the So Cal Market.
• Managed teams focusing on the luxury custom home -residential market
• Project management experience on ground up Multifamily a plus but not required.
• A can do attitude to take on anything the job requires in a very fast paced and dynamic work environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour + shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
