PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINER - MLEA
PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION
HELENA, MT
This position is responsible for coordinate training efforts, ensuring classes are scheduled, attendees are tracked, and charges are billed. Candidate will communicate and advertise training courses. Prepare training environment and ensure necessary materials are available as well as present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as online training, role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos. This position may analyze training needs for organizations. Trains a variety of students, employees, or attendees with differing learning styles and needs.
As a subject matter expert, design materials and curriculum for classes. Consult with agency leaders and work teams to determine present and future organizational needs. Consult with agency management concerning individual or unique learning and development improvement needs. Develop or revise materials to achieve training goals. Evaluate success of training and development curriculum, adjusting content as needed. Develop and administer projects, programs, and goals that support the division’s workplan.
QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development, or related field. Two years of experience in training, teaching, or a related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
