Summary

Madison Precision Products, Inc., a tier-one automotive parts supplier to Honda of America in Madison, Indiana is seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:

Purchasing Staff

The primary responsibility of this position will be purchasing products requested from internal customers and coordinating the delivery of domestic and international purchases

Key Responsibilities

• Requesting quotations, negotiating pricing and placing orders with selected suppliers
• Develop supplier back-up contingency plans
• Work closely with all key suppliers and internal departments to develop strong lines of communication
• Coordinate imports with customs brokerage firm
• Coordinate ordering & delivery of Aluminum

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar degree.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and C-TPAT is preferred
• Strong computer and organizational skills in a multi-tasking environment are a must
• Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and in writing, with internal and external contacts
• Strong analytical and judgment skills with ability to prioritize efficiently
• Must be able to work as an integral part of a project team and independently with minimal supervision
• Personal computer skill required: Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook; ability to efficiently navigate the internet; Macola

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.92 - $22.92 per hour
