Job Description: Purchasing

Responsibilities for the Purchasing but is not limited to the following:

Purchasing Responsibilities: Responsible for Purchase orders, process (RFQ), supplier’s quotes and monitoring the status on materials and supplies for assigned projects, to be on time delivery and ensure timely scheduled date for delivery. Review Bills of Material or BOM with Sr. Purchasing Agent or Division Manager to determine how crucial the material when to Expedite and ensure timely delivery and back order follow-up.

Knowledge: Process Purchase Orders,Track purchase orders and maintain log of released workbench materials, quantities, materials and supplies for assigned projects exercising business judgment to execute a comprehensive purchasing strategy resulting in superior cost, quality, and availability. materials and supplies for assigned projects

Skills Preferred: ERP environment, Microsoft Office tools, Syteline Software.

(Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience Required: Minimum of two year experience in general purchasing experience in manufacturing. + Having manufacturing background in the defense industry is a plus.

Pay: $14.00 - $14.25 per hour
