Job description
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for various inspections and activities in relation to the quality of product processed throughout the facility, in accordance with SQF and industry standard operating procedures, line specifications, and associated customer specifications. Responsible for assuring that products are in compliance with standard quality regulations.

Responsible for analysis and verification activities required in Safe Quality Food (SQF) System as well as ensuring all production process control.
- Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
- Comply with GMP’s in the plant.
- Conduct all monitoring activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications.
- Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
- Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system
In-line Inspection
- Moisture and pH Testing
- Product Quality Evaluation (shelf life and sample retention program)
- Responsible for conducting pre-operational and production in-line inspections
- Record production and packaging conditions according to procedures
- Process all Non-conforming product against company establish quality standards.
- Record all abnormal production and communicate with Production Supervisor and QA Manager for immediate action
- Prepare and maintain required documentation of test results.
- Calibrate all equipment use for in-line inspections
- Conduct daily and monthly GMP walk-through and sanitation inspections
- Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing
- Monitor environmental air quality and inspect employees’ hygiene condition
- Data entry of records
Material Sampling and Inspecting
- Perform material receiving inspection based on respective material’s product specification and inspection check list
- Train receiving department on Inspection of Raw and Packaging Material
- Responsible for collecting samples of raw ingredients and packaging materials used for production
- Organize and update Packaging and Raw Material Catalogue
- Organize and update COA from suppliers
- Customer product returned inspection
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
