Position Overview:

This position performs diversified inspections of a variety of standard or custom parts, products, systems, and materials that are manufactured in-house or received from outside vendors. The position uses a variety pf precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs proper inspection methods and techniques
• Completes incoming inspections of raw materials, customer supplied parts, and purchased components
• Conducts visual and dimensional tests to ensure quality of finished goods
• Verifies parts to drawings
• Performs analytical testing
• Assists with in-process QC checks
• Reads project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures
• Checks components for proper fit & function

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, or 13485) is a plus
• Detail orientated
• Familiarity with the operation of common manufacturing and measuring tools and equipment
• Ability to work with and handle small instruments and components

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing
• Must have good vision and dexterity
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and sit throughout the day for extended periods of time
• Must be able to follow protocols and direction thoroughly and repetitively
