Job Duties:

• Leadership of team members consistent with NCS values
• Serve as the Single Point of Accountability, SPA, for plant services including Facilities Maintenance, Quality Control Management, Facilities Initiatives Implementation, and Lean Practice Management

• Facility Maintenance:

  • Develop, track, and manage a facilities maintenance program that utilized appropriate levels of preventative and condition-based maintenance for optimal facility operation

  • Coordinate activities with plant management to minimize downtime for planned maintenance activities
  • Manage internal and external resources to mitigate impacts of unplanned maintenance events to balance cost while minimizing impact to production

• Quality Control:

  • Coordinate established quality objectives with stakeholders to increase product accuracy and reliability as well as reduce costs
  • Root Cause investigation and intervention where appropriate to address issues as well as management of corrective actions to ensure a thorough and timely response
  • Manage KPI review meetings to ensure quality focus, streamline and measure results for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and conduct plant staff training on product scoring calibration and quality principles

• Facility Initiatives:

  • Participate in planning activities around facility initiates to develop clear and concise scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Secure resources and manage execution of facility initiatives through commissioning and handoff to the production team.

• Lean Practices Management:

  • Work closely with operations stakeholders and corporate support services to implement lean best practices on the floor.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
• Other:
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local or regulatory laws, and company safety policies
  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business from an accredited college or university preferred and/or 10+ years of manufacturing management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to lead a team a team and influence across business functions
• Effective with computers, in particular Microsoft Office Suite and standard ERP offerings
